Terms of Service
Please read these terms and trading conditions carefully before using OgaCard.
User Agreement
By registering for, accessing, or using the OgaCard mobile applications or related web services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use OgaCard services.
1. Eligibility & Registration
To use OgaCard, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into binding financial transactions.
- Provide accurate, truthful, and verifiable registration information including your legal name, active phone number, and email address.
- Maintain only one personal account on the platform unless explicitly authorized in writing.
- Protect your account credentials and transaction PIN. You are solely responsible for any activity conducted under your authenticated credentials.
2. Gift Card Trading Rules & Validity
OgaCard operates a transparent, fair, and secure trading marketplace. Every user agrees to strictly abide by the following trading conditions:
- Legitimate Ownership: You represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of any gift card submitted for exchange, and that the card was legally acquired through legitimate retail purchases.
- Prohibition of Fraudulent Cards: You must NOT submit already-redeemed cards, deactivated cards, cards acquired through phishing, scamming, unauthorized card usage, or invalid balance states.
- Zero Tolerance for Fraud: Submitting compromised or stolen gift cards is a direct violation of civil and criminal laws. OgaCard reserves the right to immediately freeze accounts, cancel orders, withhold settlement funds, and report repeat offenders to legal and law enforcement agencies.
- Accurate Submissions: When submitting an order, you must select the correct card brand, currency, denomination, and card format (e.g., Physical Card or Digital E-code). Mismatched information may delay processing or lead to order cancellation.
3. Exchange Rates & Price Disclosures
OgaCard publishes live, market-reflective exchange rates for digital gift cards:
- Exchange rates are determined dynamically based on international market demand, card liquidity, and prevailing foreign exchange conditions.
- The rate displayed and confirmed at the moment you complete your order submission is the locked rate applied to that trade upon successful card verification.
- If a submitted card is valid for a lower face value than stated (e.g., $50 submitted as $100), OgaCard will adjust the final credited amount to reflect the verified actual face value at the prevailing rate.
4. Wallet Credits & Payout Settlements
Upon positive card balance verification by our automated systems or trading desk:
- Your OgaCard wallet balance is credited immediately in your preferred settlement currency (Nigerian Naira or Ghanaian Cedis).
- You may withdraw your wallet balance at any time into a verified commercial bank account or Mobile Money wallet registered in your legal name.
- OgaCard processes withdrawals through automated bank switches. Bank network delays or maintenance on the recipient bank's side are beyond OgaCard's direct control, though our settlement team actively monitors all transactions until final delivery.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use OgaCard to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, illicit gambling, ransom payments, or any illegal activities. Any accounts suspected of suspicious transaction flows are subject to mandatory regulatory compliance audits and immediate account suspension.
6. Termination & Account Closure
OgaCard reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior toward support representatives, or attempt to exploit technical vulnerabilities. Users may also voluntarily request account closure at any time directly through the app or by contacting customer support.
